Pipe & Structural Welder – SS/MS

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Pipe & Structural Welder to join our project in Gandhidham, Gujarat. The successful candidate will perform high‑quality welding on stainless steel (SS) and mild steel (MS) pipes, fittings and structural components, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute TIG, MIG and ARC welding on SS and MS pipes, fittings, and structural assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements and welding symbols.
• Prepare, align, tack and weld joints according to project specifications.
• Assist with cutting, grinding, layout and fit‑up operations.
• Inspect completed welds, identify defects and perform necessary repairs.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Coordinate daily with supervisors, fitters and other project team members.

Required profile

• Practical experience in SS/MS pipe and structural welding.
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG and ARC welding techniques.
• Knowledge of pipe schedules, metals and welding consumables.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• ITI or equivalent welding/fabrication certification preferred.
• Experience in industrial piping, tank fabrication or mechanical projects is an advantage.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site at the Gandhidham project.
