P&ID Designer – AutoCAD & Plant3D Specialist

About the role

The P&ID Designer will join Arcadis’ engineering team to produce accurate piping and instrumentation diagrams for pharmaceutical and process projects. Using AutoCAD, Plant3D and CADWorx, you will translate engineering sketches and specifications into detailed, standards‑compliant drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit P&IDs in AutoCAD, Plant3D or CADWorx based on project sketches, mark‑ups and specifications.
• Generate all required project documentation, including 2‑D plans, schematics, sections and reports.
• Update layouts and P&IDs throughout the project lifecycle to reflect design changes.
• Verify drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with industry codes and Arcadis SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure requirements are correctly captured.
• Maintain and expand P&ID libraries and templates for efficient reuse.
• Operate in accordance with cGMP guidelines and SHE regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in a technical or engineering discipline; a certified course in Plant3D or CADWorx is required.
• 2‑3 years of experience creating P&IDs for pharma or process‑industry projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within budget and schedule constraints.
• Medium proficiency in English and good communication skills.
