Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care and maintain quality standards in the pharmacy.
• Manage inventory levels, store pharmaceuticals under optimal conditions, and minimize expiries.
• Negotiate drug purchase contracts to control costs.
• Dispense medications with clear instructions and accurate labeling.
• Communicate prescription details, drug information, and patient reactions to nursing and medical staff.
• Maintain departmental policies, quality‑assurance programs, safety, and environmental standards.
• Secure storage and regular audit of narcotics and controlled substances.
• Perform stock‑taking, drug audits, and update dispensing software.
• Provide formulary information to doctors and recommend policy improvements.
• Handle patient concerns confidentially and participate in quality‑control activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and drug safety.
• Excellent communication skills in the language(s) spoken by patients.
