Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Kollam. This full‑time, on‑site position involves ensuring safe, accurate dispensing of medicines and providing professional counseling to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and verify prescriptions for correctness.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, monitor expiry dates, and ensure safe storage of medicines.
• Review patient medication histories and collaborate with healthcare providers as needed.
• Assist with record‑keeping, billing, and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Support quality‑assurance processes and contribute to a clean, customer‑friendly pharmacy environment.

Required profile

• Recognized degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or D.Pharm) and a valid pharmacist license/registration.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and pharmacy laws.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, empathetic patient counseling.
• Attention to detail in dispensing, labeling, and documentation.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems.
• Experience using prescription processing software.
• Basic computer application skills.
