Pharmacist – Full‑time On‑site Position

About the role

National Medical Store is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join its on‑site pharmacy in Jashpur. You will play a vital role in ensuring safe, accurate dispensing of medicines and providing essential medication counseling to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and potential interactions.
• Counsel patients on proper use, dosage, and possible side effects of their medications.
• Maintain prescription records, manage inventory, rotate stock, and check expiry dates.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide medication information.
• Support public‑health initiatives such as vaccination drives and health‑awareness programs.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and patient‑friendly.

Required profile

• Recognized degree or diploma in Pharmacy with valid registration/licensure.
• Sound knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation, and medication safety practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling.
• Attention to detail in dispensing, record‑keeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Ethical conduct, reliability, and a patient‑centered mindset.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Jashpur and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred but not mandatory.
