Pharmaceutical Technician – Formulation Development

About the role

The company is seeking a Technician with 2‑3 years of experience to support Formulation Development activities. The role involves operating, cleaning, change‑over and preventive maintenance of various pharmaceutical equipment in a high‑potency laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain laboratory, equipment and instruments.
• Assemble, set‑up and perform preventive maintenance on compression, coating, granulation and blister‑packing machines.
• Conduct fumigation and sanitisation of the area as required.
• Identify wear‑and‑tear, coordinate repairs with external service providers.
• Record and monitor temperature, humidity and differential pressure.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of AHU units with external support.
• Support installation qualification (IQ) and operation qualification (OQ) of new machines.
• Strictly follow GMP guidelines during daily laboratory activities.
• Operate automated dispensing machines, perform pre‑packing, assembling and labeling tasks.
• Track inventory of consumables and spare parts.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical equipment operation and maintenance.
• Completed ITI course.
• Willingness to work in shifts and travel to external manufacturing sites when needed.
