Pharmaceutical Stability Officer

About the role

The Stability Officer will be responsible for analysing stability and finished‑product samples in a pharmaceutical laboratory, ensuring that all data and reports comply with ALCOA principles and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). The role supports the integrity of the stability program and the reliable operation of critical analytical instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform stability and finished‑product sample analysis and compile reports according to ALCOA procedures.
• Maintain and service laboratory instruments such as dissolution testers, UV spectrophotometers, analytical balances, pH meters and sonicators.
• Ensure data integrity, GDP compliance and effective documentation throughout the testing process.
• Operate, monitor and maintain stability chambers and associated tracking systems.
• Charge and withdraw stability samples following approved protocols.

Required profile

• B.Pharm, M.Sc. or M.Pharm degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical stability testing or quality control.
• Familiarity with ALCOA reporting, GDP and data‑integrity policies.
• Ability to work accurately in a regulated laboratory environment.
