People Generalist

About the role

As a People Generalist you will support the full people agenda across the business, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, development and engagement processes. You will use people data and insights to guide actions and help create a fair, compliant, and supportive working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute employee life‑cycle processes in line with group‑approved procedures.
• Coordinate and implement people initiatives and projects affecting business units.
• Provide support to employees and managers on people processes, initiatives and solutions.
• Address employee inquiries, concerns and basic employee‑relations matters.
• Support employee engagement activities to enhance workplace satisfaction.
• Manage recruitment processes, including communication, guidelines, deadlines and Assessment Centers.
• Deliver onboarding for Store Management teams and follow‑up.
• Organise, facilitate and monitor training (including culture & values).
• Support performance‑management dialogues, contribution journeys and talent pipeline management.
• Analyse people metrics, prepare reports on headcount, turnover, training and hiring, and track KPI linked to fair working environment outcomes.

• Reliable and collaborative people professional.
• Strong organisational, communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work across multiple business units and support managers effectively.
