People Consultant

About the role

Google's People Operations team is looking for a People Consultant to partner with business leaders, support employee experiences, and ensure HR decisions are data‑driven and transparent. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping managers and employees navigate performance, relations, and development matters.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate across organizational boundaries and influence People Operations priorities.
• Drive operational excellence by improving processes, service delivery, and employee experience.
• Serve as HR advisor, mentor, and partner to employees, managers, and leaders, managing risk and resolving HR issues.
• Provide HR guidance aligned with business needs, building relationships and enhancing manager capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver HR consultations.
• Experience in HR, people programs, cross‑functional collaboration, coaching, and mentoring.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) for data analysis and reporting.
