About the role
The PE Swimming Coach will deliver professional swimming instruction to students at CS Academy, fostering technique, fitness, confidence and competitive ability in a safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct structured swimming sessions tailored to students' age, ability and skill level.
- Teach proper swimming techniques, strokes, breathing, starts, turns and endurance.
- Assess individual abilities, monitor progress and provide regular technical feedback.
- Enforce pool safety rules and water safety procedures at all times.
- Supervise and maintain discipline to ensure student safety and well‑being.
- Prepare and train students for competitions, sports meets and inter‑school events.
- Maintain records of attendance, participation, skill development and performance.
- Ensure swimming equipment and training areas are safe, clean, organized and well‑maintained.
- Coordinate with the PE Coordinator, teachers and school management regarding progress, schedules and events.
