Partner – Senior Legal Professional (Banking & Real Estate)

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced legal professional to join our team as a Partner. The role focuses on providing expert legal advisory services across banking, real estate, and corporate domains, ensuring robust risk management and compliance for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property due diligence, title verification, and draft legal opinions.
• Oversee mortgage creation, APF/project legal scrutiny, and related documentation.
• Review sale, lease, conveyance, GPA, development, and other property agreements.
• Advise banks and NBFCs on legal risks, documentation, and compliance matters.
• Perform legal audits, manage land acquisition processes, and negotiate corporate contracts.
• Handle arbitration, civil/consumer litigation, and Section 138 NI Act cases.

Required profile

• 15–20+ years of legal experience with a focus on banking, real estate, and corporate advisory.
• LL.B. degree with enrollment in the State Bar Council.
• Proven experience working with banks, NBFCs, HFCs, or reputable real estate law firms.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Property Laws, SARFAESI, RERA, TPA, Registration & Stamp Laws.
• Expertise in Banking & Finance documentation.
• Strong litigation and arbitration handling abilities.
