Part-Time PHP Software Engineer (1+1 Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a focused and efficient Software Engineer to work on a time‑sensitive development project. The role is part‑time (5 hours per day, 4 days a week) on a short‑term contract (initial 1 month with a possible 1‑month renewal). You will deliver clean, functional code using Core PHP, PDO for secure database interactions, and modern JavaScript (ES6).

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Core PHP, strictly using PHP Data Objects (PDO) for prepared‑statement database interactions.
• Proficiency in MySQL, including schema design, relational queries, and performance optimisation.
• Solid grasp of modern JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and asynchronous requests (Fetch/AJAX).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code within tight turnarounds.
