OT Security Analyst – Industrial Control Systems

About the role

KPMG India is seeking an OT Security professional to protect industrial control environments such as SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and HMIs. You will work closely with IT and plant teams to ensure secure integration and compliance with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and secure OT/ICS environments, including SCADA, DCS, PLC, and HMI systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on OT networks.
• Implement network segmentation and security controls aligned with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, and related standards.
• Support incident detection and response in OT environments using SIEM tools.
• Assist with patch management and system hardening for industrial devices.
• Perform log analysis, threat detection, and anomaly identification.
• Participate in security audits, compliance activities, and documentation of procedures.

Required profile

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, Profibus).
• Understanding of network security fundamentals (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Required skills

• OT security tools such as Nozomi, Claroty, Dragos (preferred).
• SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
• Vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys).
