Operations Team Member – Capital Markets & Custodial Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Team Member to support our Capital Markets and Custodial Operations. The role involves handling foreign exchange instructions, processing remittances, and ensuring accurate reporting to regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Check FX instructions on the SWIFT network and report daily forex activity to the Treasury Dealing Unit.
• Book inward and outward deals on behalf of clients and interact with Treasury Operations and Dealing Units.
• Perform Nostro account reconciliation for the Custody Unit.
• Process inbound and outbound remittances and communicate confirmations to clients.
• Prepare weekly inflow/outflow reports for the RBI and daily/monthly trade reports for the CPA.
• Follow up with the CPA to obtain missing tax certificates for remittances.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Indian capital markets, foreign exchange, and SEBI & RBI reporting regulations.
• Commerce graduate or MBA from any recognized university.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and shortcuts.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging for FX instructions.
