Operations Manager – Transportation Cluster

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Cluster Operations Manager to lead the development and execution of its city‑wide delivery infrastructure. You will shape transportation processes from fulfillment centers to customers, ensuring rapid growth and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and set up delivery stations and hub points across the city.
• Define, build, and execute transportation processes, leveraging the Delivery Center network.
• Appoint and manage Service Partners, expanding network capacity.
• Hire, train, and motivate delivery teams in collaboration with HR and training functions.
• Maintain sufficient workforce bandwidth for peak‑time deliveries.
• Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, Fulfillment Centers, and Projects teams on city operations.
• Conduct performance appraisals for Delivery Center Managers and Channel Relationship Managers.
• Drive continuous improvement using Kaizen, data analysis, and process‑control mechanisms.
