Operations Manager I – Amazon Now Launch Team

About the role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager I to join the Now Launch team in India. You will work closely with senior leadership to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance the customer experience across our fulfillment network.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze operational data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, pilot, and implement process enhancements.
• Lead on‑floor teams, conduct audits, coach associates, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Participate in leadership review meetings such as Daily Deep Dive and Site Business Review.
• Apply Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies to streamline operations.
• Manage night‑shift rosters and be willing to relocate as business needs dictate.

Required profile

• Strong sense of ownership and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for summarizing and presenting data.
• Willingness to learn complex processes and commit to long‑term career development.
• Ability to lead large work groups and motivate hourly workforce.
• Physical ability to work on‑floor, including frequent walking, standing, and navigating fulfillment centers.
