Operations Lead – Delivery Center (Shift Management)

About the role
Amazon is looking for an Operations Lead to manage shift operations at its delivery centre in Guwahati. You will work closely with the centre manager to ensure smooth transportation processes and meet performance targets.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily shift operations at the delivery centre, coordinating with the centre manager.
- Execute the delivery process from the station to the customer’s address.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels for both facility and delivery teams, especially during peak periods.
- Continuously improve delivery workflows and drive sustained performance improvements.
- Plan and monitor associate schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong execution and action‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑obsessed environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and assess risks.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced Excel skills.
