Operational Procurement Buyer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operational Procurement Buyer to join our electronic product division. In this position you will ensure the smooth operation of the procurement function, managing supplier interactions and material flow to meet production and customer demands.

Key responsibilities

• Create purchase orders based on MRP and inventory replenishment using SAP.
• Provide material availability updates to production planning, product management and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting discussions to align with company standards.
• Monitor supplier performance (on‑time delivery, quality, responsiveness) and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality assurance and R&D teams to secure timely material supply.
• Coordinate expediting and push‑out priorities with shipping agencies, logistics partners and customs.
• Work with quality teams to process returns and obtain credit receipts.
• Utilize procurement tools and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Analyze market trends, evaluate suppliers and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure procurement effectiveness.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the electronic product industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices and regulations.
