About the role

The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Vidyashilp University is seeking open‑rank faculty members in Psychology, Economics and Humanities. Candidates will join a young, research‑oriented university in Bengaluru and contribute to undergraduate and doctoral programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in the assigned discipline.
• Develop and lead research projects, publish findings in peer‑reviewed venues.
• Mentor and supervise students, including theses and dissertations.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and university committees.
• Secure research funding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Psychology, Economics or a relevant Humanities field.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly research, teaching experience and publications.
• Ability to mentor students and contribute to the academic growth of the university.
• Strong communication skills in English.
