About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a Nursing Officer to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, conducting assessments, and supporting patients and families throughout their treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes.
• Provide bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and recovery.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and attend regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team, show initiative and provide moral support to patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Operation and care of medical equipment.
