Nursing Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Officer to join Apollo Hospitals, a leading healthcare provider in India. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, conducting assessments, and supporting patients and families throughout the recovery process.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in patient assessment and care.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills, listening ability, teamwork, and communication.
• Initiative, moral support, and a compassionate approach to patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
