About the role
Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join its clinical team. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Record patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under supervision.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Monitor patient health status and report changes promptly.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper bedside care.
- Operate and care for medical equipment safely.
Required profile
- Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing qualification.
- Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th, and nursing degree.
- 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
Required skills
- Computer literacy for maintaining electronic medical records.
