Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care across its facilities. The role involves assisting nurses and doctors in delivering high‑quality medical services to sick, disabled, recovering or injured patients.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Provide bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑treatment care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th and 12th.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for maintaining medical records and documentation.
