Nurse Assistant – 3 months to 5 years experience

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join our team at Apollo Hospitals. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history, symptoms and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes promptly.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside readiness.
• Operate and care for medical equipment according to protocols.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and hospital information systems.
