NOC Engineer

About the role

Armada is looking for an experienced NOC / Data Center Operations Engineer to ensure the reliability of its edge‑focused physical infrastructure. You will monitor power, cooling, networking, environmental and facility systems across distributed data centers, acting as a Tier 2 escalation point and driving incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor critical infrastructure using PLC, BMS and DCIM platforms (e.g., Distech, Radix IoT/Mango, Schneider Electric, Siemens).
• Respond to alerts related to power, cooling, network connectivity, environmental conditions and facility equipment.
• Provide Tier 2 support for L1 escalations and coordinate with engineering, facilities, vendors and other teams.
• Own incidents from triage through resolution, including stakeholder communication and documentation.
• Conduct post‑incident reviews and improve monitoring, alerting and operational processes.
• Perform routine health checks on UPS systems, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, backup generators and environmental sensors.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical infrastructure issues and coordinate their resolution.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with data‑center operations and remote/edge infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PLC, BMS and DCIM platforms and their integration.
• Proven ability to manage incidents, coordinate cross‑functional teams and document outcomes.
