NOC Engineer – Data Center Operations

About the role

Armada is looking for a NOC Engineer to ensure the reliability of its edge data‑center infrastructure. You will monitor, troubleshoot and improve the physical systems that keep power, cooling, networking and environmental conditions stable across a global distributed network.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor critical infrastructure using PLC, BMS and DCIM platforms (e.g., Distech, Radix IoT/Mango, Schneider Electric, Siemens).
• Respond to alerts on power, cooling, network connectivity, environmental conditions and facility systems.
• Provide Tier 2 support for escalations, coordinate with engineering, facilities and vendors, and own incidents from detection through resolution.
• Conduct routine health checks of UPS, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, backup generators and environmental sensors.
• Develop and refine monitoring dashboards, alert thresholds and operational health indicators.
• Participate in post‑incident reviews and drive continuous improvement of reliability processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with data‑center operations and edge infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PLC, BMS and DCIM platforms and their integration.
• Experience in incident management and Tier 2 escalation.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in remote locations.
