NDT Technician – Ultrasonic & Magnetic Particle Testing

About the role

We are looking for a qualified NDT Technician to perform non‑destructive testing across multiple sites in India. The role involves executing ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and thickness‑gauge inspections on welds, pipes, and pressure vessels while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT) and Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge (UTG) activities.
• Conduct ultrasonic flaw detection of weld joints according to approved procedures.
• Calibrate NDT equipment and maintain inspection accuracy.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports within defined timelines.
• Perform thickness measurements on feeder pipes and pressure vessels.
• Maintain testing records, documentation, and equipment logs.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section V, AWS, and related industry standards.
• Coordinate with site teams and support quality inspection activities.
• Travel PAN India as required.

Required profile

• B.Tech / Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental or Electrical disciplines.
• ASNT / ISNT Level II certification in UT, VT, RT, MPT, LPT or Advanced NDT.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in NDT inspection activities.
• Understanding of ASME Section V and AWS Structural Welding Codes.
• Basic knowledge of calibration, testing procedures, and inspection reporting.
• Good technical and documentation skills.
