NDT Technician

About the role

The NDT Technician will perform non‑destructive testing on materials and components at our Lucknow site, using ultrasonic and eddy current methods to ensure structural integrity without causing damage.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasonic and eddy current inspections on a variety of assets.
• Perform visual inspections and identify corrosion or structural defects.
• Prepare and calibrate testing equipment before each inspection.
• Interpret test results, document findings, and report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support quality‑control processes.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives for inspection procedures.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• Recognized NDT certification (Level I/II in Ultrasonics or Eddy Current) is highly beneficial.
• Hands‑on experience with visual and advanced NDT inspections.
• Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and their impact on materials.
• Understanding of quality‑control processes and relevant standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, safety‑focused mindset, and ability to work in an on‑site industrial environment.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to work flexible hours as required.
