National Air Logistics Trucking Manager

About the role

As a National Air Logistics Trucking Manager you will oversee the end‑to‑end trucking operations that support air freight movements across India. You will be responsible for designing and executing a scalable, high‑quality trucking strategy that aligns with the company’s air logistics business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage pan‑India trucking operations for import and export air shipments.
• Drive 70% road logistics and coordinate the remaining 30% of air freight activities.
• Develop and implement trucking strategies, processes, and operational frameworks integrated with air logistics.
• Oversee resource planning, cost management, and operational efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, carrier networks, and procurement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs, service quality, and customer satisfaction, driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Lead pricing coordination and contribute to business growth and profitability.
• Transition the current outsourced team to an in‑house capability, building a strong internal team.
• Support solution design and transportation planning for complex logistics requirements.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of logistics experience with a strong focus on road trucking operations.
• Proven experience managing national‑level trucking or transportation functions.
• Strong understanding of air logistics integration with road transport.
• Experience in costing, vendor management, and operational execution.
• Exposure to sectors such as semiconductor, aerospace, healthcare, white‑glove, or hyperscalers is preferred.
• People‑management experience with the ability to build and scale teams.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
