Modeling and Simulation Engineer

About the role

Join Airbus India to develop your technical and leadership skills in a multidisciplinary environment focused on digital transformation of aircraft programs. You will enable smart automation through MBSE frameworks and contribute to more robust development of new aircraft architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop behavioural and physical models for various aircraft systems.
• Perform verification and validation of models on target simulation platforms.
• Integrate models with other system models to represent broader aircraft behaviours.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during system V&V campaigns across multiple aircraft programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑8 years of experience in systems engineering, MBSE, or model‑based development.
• Understanding of DO‑178C, DO‑331 and DO‑160 regulations and avionics V&V processes.

Required skills

• Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model‑Based Design (MBD) tools.
• Proficiency with Simulink, Model Advisor, Code Inspector, Polyspace Bug Finder, Code Prover and MATLAB.
• Experience with aerospace communication protocols such as AFDX, CAN and ARINC.
• Hands‑on testing using MIL, SIL and HIL environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, Sysdops and version‑control systems.
