Model Based Development & Verification Engineer – BMS

About the role
We are looking for a Model Based Development & Verification Engineer to join our Battery Management System (BMS) team in Bangalore. You will work on creating and validating control models for BMS using MathWorks tools, ensuring high‑quality, bug‑free software that meets automotive standards.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and provide effort estimations.
- Develop control models from specifications using MATLAB, Simulink and related MathWorks tools.
- Design and execute test specifications, code coverage analysis, and model validation (MIL, SIL).
- Review existing test cases and create new ones to achieve 100 % coverage.
- Support automation efforts using MATLAB scripting and Python.
- Maintain model quality and adhere to coding guidelines.
Required profile
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Experience working with Battery Management Systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to estimate effort.
