Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies as a Model‑Based Design (MBD) Engineer, working on cutting‑edge control system development for automotive and industrial applications. You will translate high‑level requirements into robust Simulink models and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design: Translate complex high‑level requirements into structured Simulink models using MAAB guidelines.
• Logic Development: Design and implement complex control logic using Stateflow and Simulink.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop custom MATLAB M‑scripts and tools to automate modeling tasks, data analysis, and report generation.
• Verification & Validation: Lead Model‑Based Testing efforts, create test sequences and achieve 100 % MC/DC coverage.
• International Representation: Act as a technical subject‑matter expert in international forums, presenting architectural decisions and team progress.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software teams (firmware and testing) to ensure seamless model integration and deployment.

Required profile

• Educational background: BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics.
• Experience: 1‑5 years in model‑based design or control systems engineering.
• Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences and work effectively with international teams.
