Mobile Software Development Engineer in Test

About the role

McAfee is looking for a Mobile Software Development Engineer in Test to ensure the quality of its mobile applications and backend services. The role blends hands‑on mobile automation, API testing, and manual validation to catch critical defects early and maintain a robust test framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications.
• Create and execute automated and manual test cases for mobile and API layers, covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Investigate production issues, perform debugging, and validate fixes to guarantee stability and security.
• Leverage AI‑assisted testing tools to accelerate test creation, execution, and coverage improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams to integrate testing into the SDLC and ensure high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in mobile (Android/iOS) automation and backend/API testing.
• Strong expertise in mobile test automation frameworks and scripting.
• Experience with manual validation of business workflows and integrations.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled testing tools and Agile methodologies.
