Mobile Engineer

About the role

Ascendion, a leader in AI‑powered software engineering, is seeking a Mobile Engineer to build and enhance iOS applications for its global Fortune 500 clientele. You will work on cutting‑edge projects that combine AI technologies with mobile development, delivering high‑impact solutions that shape digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and Objective‑C.
• Implement user interfaces with SwiftUI and UIKit while adhering to Apple’s design principles.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and, when required, GraphQL/Apollo services to connect front‑end features with back‑end systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including AI engineers, product managers, and designers, to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Maintain code quality through version control (GitHub), code reviews, and automated testing.
• Continuously monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.

• Proven experience developing iOS applications in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of Apple’s interface guidelines and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and within a fast‑paced, globally distributed team.
