Mobile Engineer (Android/iOS)

About the role

BJAK is building an AI‑powered Neobank app that combines insurance, payments, savings and investing for millions across Southeast Asia. We are looking for a Mobile Engineer who can design, develop and ship high‑quality features for both Android and iOS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and release mobile features for Android and/or iOS, focusing on insurance, payments, claims, renewals and broader financial services.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to translate complex journeys into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Integrate APIs, manage loading states, handle errors and resolve production issues.
• Improve app performance, reliability, crash rates and overall user experience.
• Support rapid product launches, experiments and iterative improvements.
• Help raise the quality bar for mobile product delivery across the app.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience (Android, iOS or both).
• Strong product sense with a focus on mobile UX and performance.
• Ability to work independently, own tasks and deliver with limited guidance.
• Experience shipping production‑ready apps used by real users.
• Clear communication of personal contributions and willingness to take production quality personally.
