Mobile Developer

About the role

ShopDeck is building an all‑in‑one software stack for D2C merchants and needs a Mobile Developer to create and scale high‑quality mobile applications that power its seller and merchant ecosystem. You will work at the intersection of mobile engineering, product experience, and scalable architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build shared modules with Compose Multiplatform/Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Collaborate on Flutter‑based features when required.
• Implement scalable architecture using MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Create reactive UI and state management with Coroutines and Flow.
• Integrate backend APIs using Ktor or Retrofit.
• Handle offline caching, local storage, and data persistence.
• Debug crashes, memory leaks, ANRs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with backend and product teams to deliver features quickly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mobile app development, preferably for Android.
• Strong command of Kotlin and modern Android UI frameworks.
• Experience with multiplatform development and cross‑platform modules.
• Solid understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and reactive programming.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code.
• Team player with good communication skills.
