Mobile Application Developer (Java)

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile solutions across iOS, Android, Hybrid and React Native platforms. You will work within a collaborative environment, leveraging IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI technologies to deliver innovative applications for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test complex mobile applications for multiple platforms.
• Integrate reusable software packages and assets to ensure seamless interaction with backend services.
• Apply API knowledge to guarantee smooth integration with other software components.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates to maintain optimal performance.
• Utilize advanced Java programming to create and maintain robust mobile codebases.

Required profile

• Preferred Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mobile architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience developing for iOS, Android, Hybrid and React Native environments.
