Mobile App Engineer

About the role

PaisaSmart is looking for a Mobile App Engineer to take full ownership of its PS mobile application. You will be the most senior developer on the app, responsible for maintenance, debugging, and delivering new features in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the PS mobile app, ensuring stability and performance.
• Design and implement server‑driven, agentic AI capabilities within the app.
• Manage the end‑to‑end release workflow: testing, error collection, debugging, and publishing to the App Store and Play Store.
• Collaborate directly with the founder, making technical decisions without intermediate layers.
• Provide rapid response to production issues, including after‑hours support when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience developing mobile applications.
• Self‑motivated learner who can work independently in a high‑responsibility, low‑hierarchy environment.
• Available to work on‑site in Nariman Point, Mumbai, Monday‑Friday, 10 am–7 pm.
