Methods & Tools Engineer

About the role

Airbus India is seeking a Methods & Tools Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team in Bengaluru. You will create digital solutions that streamline core engineering processes across the aircraft lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop web‑based tools for electrical wiring harness, hydraulic circuit design, and aircraft safety analysis.
• Implement data‑driven applications for routing, test reduction, and business data monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering verticals to translate domain knowledge into software products.
• Participate in Agile Scrum and SAFe ceremonies to deliver high‑quality digital products.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven stakeholder management.
• Experience in project planning, delivery tracking, and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with knowledge‑transfer practices and team upskilling.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with Spring.NET, and REST API development.
• Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of software design patterns, unit testing, micro‑services, and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Practical use of Agile Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
