Medical Services Officer

About the role

The Medical Services Officer will lead the occupational health and safety program for the project, ensuring a robust safety culture and rapid medical response for all employees, contractors and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project safety guidelines, conduct audits, report incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain infection‑control and patient‑safety protocols across the site.
• Coordinate ambulance readiness, liaison with nearby hospitals and ensure timely medical treatment.
• Manage the Occupational Health Centre (OHC), including first‑aid kits, trauma kits, oxygen cylinders and defibrillators.
• Maintain accurate medical records, health assessments and incident logs.
• Organise health‑awareness sessions (e.g., oral health, stress management, dengue, CPR with AED).
• Conduct regular mock drills and employee safety‑awareness training.
• Inspect canteen and pantry hygiene, and oversee worker hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in occupational health, medical services or safety management.
• Ability to coordinate with third‑party medical agencies and hospital partners.
• Strong organizational skills for record‑keeping and reporting.
