Medical Science Manager

About the role

Sun Pharma is seeking a Medical Science Manager to lead medical monitoring activities for clinical trials in Mumbai. You will work closely with clinicians, key opinion leaders, and cross‑functional teams to ensure study integrity and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient eligibility against inclusion/exclusion criteria and review detailed medical histories.
• Prepare and present study synopses, protocols, and Clinical Study Reports (CSR) to regulatory and expert committees.
• Collaborate with clinicians and KOLs to refine trial design, comparators, and endpoints.
• Review patient eligibility and approvals using the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system.
• Coordinate with data management to extract data, support data cleaning, and ensure timely database lock.
• Train study teams on protocol specifics and resolve site or ethics committee queries.
• Review adverse event (AE) and serious adverse event (SAE) reports and provide timely comments.
• Draft scientific documents, plan publications, and present data at scientific forums.

Required profile

• MBBS + MD (Pharmacology) or equivalent medical qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in clinical science, medical monitoring, or medical affairs.
• Experience working with clinical trial data, safety investigations, and regulatory submissions.
