Medical Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Officer to lead daily medical operations, provide health education, and oversee a medical team serving rural communities. The role focuses on disease prevention, treatment, and health promotion among villagers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily operation plans for the medical unit.
• Interact with villagers, advise on communicable diseases, and promote health literacy.
• Manage and deploy the medical team, ensuring effective coverage.
• Organize health camps, conduct diagnoses, and distribute medicines.
• Lead Covid-19 awareness programs and share knowledge with both villagers and employees.
• Provide appropriate treatment to employees and contract workers as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) or postgraduate qualification in Medicine with an AFIH Diploma.
• Fluency in the local/regional language.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in medical practice or public health.
