Medical Officer – Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery

About the role

The Medical Officer CTVS will join Pacific Medical College and Hospital in Udaipur to provide comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients. Working on‑site, the officer will support the surgical team throughout procedures and ensure smooth patient recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative monitoring of CTVS patients.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during operations.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records for all surgical cases.
• Coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Adhere to medical ethics, hospital protocols, and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical abilities, including patient evaluation and treatment planning.
• Proficiency in surgical assistance, post‑operative care, and monitoring patient progress.
• Understanding of medical ethics, hospital workflows, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• MD or MS in a relevant specialty preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in a surgical or critical‑care setting highly desirable.
• Valid medical license and ongoing continuing medical education.
