Medical Officer – Campus Health Services

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Officer to provide first‑aid and primary medical care on a university campus. The role involves responding to injuries, sudden illnesses, and emergencies, while supporting the health and wellbeing of students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt first‑aid and primary medical care for injuries, illnesses, and emergencies on campus.
• Assess patients, determine need for further treatment or referral, and stabilize them until advanced care arrives.
• Coordinate with nearby hospitals, ambulance services, and emergency responders for critical cases.
• Maintain readiness for mass‑casualty or disaster scenarios.
• Conduct basic health check‑ups, medical consultations, and provide health advice.
• Support preventive health initiatives, awareness programs, and wellness activities.
• Maintain accurate medical records, first‑aid logs, and incident reports in line with university guidelines.
• Ensure confidentiality of all medical information and prepare required reports.

Required profile

• MBBS degree.
• Valid registration with a State Medical Council or NMC.
• 2–5 years of experience in emergency medical care or campus health services.

Required skills

• Emergency response and clinical decision‑making.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
