Medical Consultant – DNB Medicine

About the role

Medico Hub is seeking an experienced MD/DNB Medicine Consultant to provide advanced medical consultations and lead patient care initiatives. The role involves comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and communicate results to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for coordinated care.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and interns.
• Participate in clinical research, quality‑assurance initiatives, and continuous medical education.
• Educate patients about conditions, treatment options, and follow‑up care.

Required profile

• MD in General Medicine or DNB equivalent with a valid state medical license in India.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a consultative setting.
• Strong understanding of medical protocols, emergency handling, and patient‑centred care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
