Mechanical Engineering Team Member

About the role

The Mechanical Engineering Team Member will ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and performance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on preventive, breakdown, and improvement maintenance while complying with cGMP, safety, and regulatory standards to support uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support manufacturing equipment such as granulation (RMG, FBD), tablet presses, coating machines, blenders, sifters, mills, filling and packing lines, and derma/softgel/potent equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, including inspection, lubrication, alignment, and component replacement.
• Monitor equipment health and contribute to predictive maintenance initiatives, adhering to TPM practices.
• Perform breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and restore operation promptly.
• Ensure all activities meet cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of cGMP, safety, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.

Required skills

• Mechanical maintenance of granulation, compression, coating, and packaging equipment.
• Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Troubleshooting and breakdown repair.
• Understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.
• cGMP compliance.
