Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

HYTORC is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop innovative mechanical solutions for new and existing products, working closely with internal teams, sales, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design mechanical solutions for product requirements.
• Collaborate with in‑house personnel, salesforce, and customers to define specifications.
• Assist in prototype development and bill‑of‑materials (BOM) creation.
• Redesign existing products to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve design issues while meeting project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate documentation using SolidWorks EPDM or Adept.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering sciences (mechanics, machine design, dynamics, manufacturing processes).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for creating manufacturing drawings.
• Hands‑on experience in custom product design preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Experience using SolidWorks EPDM or Adept for documentation control.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
