MD Medicine Specialist

About the role

Vidyapati Hospital is seeking a full‑time MD Medicine specialist to join its multidisciplinary team in Motihari, Bihar. The role involves delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for adult patients across the internal medicine spectrum.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily ward rounds, assess emergency and OPD cases, and formulate treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory investigations, imaging reports, and other diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe evidence‑based therapies for acute, chronic and co‑morbid conditions.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, gynecologists, pediatricians, orthopedists, dentists and nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and provide counseling to patients and families.
• Participate in infection‑control, patient‑safety initiatives and continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Recognized MD (Medicine) degree with valid registration to the appropriate Medical Council.
• Strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of adult medical conditions.
• Ability to work in a busy 24 × 7 hospital environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols.

Required skills
