Marine Mechanic – Maintenance & Repair

About the role

West Zone Marine Pvt. Ltd is seeking a full‑time Marine Mechanic to join its on‑site team in Kochi. You will ensure the reliable operation of marine vessels and heavy equipment through systematic maintenance and timely repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on ships, offshore vessels, and associated heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, troubleshoot issues, and execute effective repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections and document findings in detailed maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Technical certification or diploma in Marine Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience with heavy equipment in a marine or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of marine systems, vessel operations, and engineering schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals accurately.
