About the role
Wabtec is seeking a Manufacturing Officer to join its paint operations team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality paint finishes for rail equipment while ensuring safe and efficient use of paint‑related equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate paint spray guns to apply finishes to components.
- Mix paints according to specifications.
- Mask parts prior to painting to protect surfaces.
- Maintain and clean paint booths to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: ITI or Diploma.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in paint manufacturing or similar industrial setting.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of paint spraying.
- Basic knowledge of paint mixing.
- Basic knowledge of masking techniques.
- Familiarity with paint spray guns.
- Experience with paint booth maintenance.
